Having said goodbye to Todd, Katja and Monika in Pokhara I went rafting for a few days with Karl and Lydia the Irish couple. Great fun altogether. There was a German couple as well as a kayaker and guide along with us. The river itself was pretty tame but some of the rapids were decent and when there weren't any rapids it was cool to jump into the water and float along the river beside the raft. The kayaker turned out to be an excellent cook as well. He put together some savage meals. After a few hours rafting in the morning we'd pull in to a beach for lunch. Same idea then in the afternoon, put in a few hours in the raft then pull in to a beach for dinner and to set up the tents. A great few days was had by all. Next stop is Chitwan national safari park...
