Honningsvag is a beautiful little town and fishinng port nestled amongst some mountanous landscape. The first thing you notice if you are lucky to be here on a sunny day is the light and colours which is so clear at this northerly point. Most people visit the North Cape to see the globe pointed towards the North Pole, but the town is quite quaint and worth a walk around. A local told me this was the first day the sun had shone all year and this was August! Nearly 9 months of 24 hour darkness here.
