Well for all you kids out there that were jealous of this venture you will be glad to know its pretty tough goin at the moment! The 14 hour flight was absolute hell in the sky. No video, no audio, no lighting, fat person sitting next to me, no room, no sleep, and turbulence like you wouldn't believe for 95% of the journey.
To add to all that the Argies are a bit fussy over the type of wood we used to pallet our bikes so it looks like we are stuck in this dingey hostel for a few days until our bikes are given freedom from customs. Its about 28 degrees here and super humid. We have no spare clothes, shower gel, deodorant etc coz they are all on the bikes, hoo bloody ray!  Gonna be like stinky soap dodging gap year students for a while. BA is mega crowded and hectic, it seems to be set up in an American style grid system and all the streets look the same so its very easy to get lost. The taxi drivers are maniacs and there doesn't seem to be any sort of highway code, just go for your life!

You must understand I'm not moaning, just relaying the facts as they come. Oh well the next few days here may shed some light on a touch of darkness. The flight did bring us an amazing sunrise as we flew over Argentina. The colours in the photos don't quite do it justice but let me assure you it was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
