Everything was just fine with the RV and Truck when we arrived at Whitcomb House in Essex Junction Vermont. It looked just like we had walked out of it yesterday other than the mouse house we found in the bottom drawer. So much that Bounce sheets act like a repellant to mice etc.We were so tired we just open the slides and made the bed and climbed in. Oh that felt great. After a quick hour we got up and started the unpacking process as well as the de winterizing.It has been three day and three sleeps and we are now all ready to hit the road. All the little repairs have been completed except for Brents Bike which is still in the shop.We are now Costco members so did a big shop as well as buying a memory foam topper pad. We are reserving our opion on that for a few more sleeps. I guess we may just have to buy a totally new mattress if it doesnt work out. It is memorial day weekend here in the states kind of like anzac day really. Tomorrow we are going to watch some car racing just north of here in a town called Barre. We promise to take some pictures so we can share what promises to be an interesting day.The weather has been very changeable with two days ago temps up in the 90's or 30 degree C. But today is cool and overcast. But it cant be as bad as it is in NZ we hear it is very cool. brrrr.

On the road again
Hi Guys, great news to find the RV in such good shape and about to get back on the road. I guess it feels like your second home. Read account of Amanda's marathon and it sounded harrowing for all of you. Gutsy effort for her though - congrats!
We are freezing back here and even lighting fires in the middle of the day. Spoke to Nicko yesterday and heard about the awesome trip to Bahamas so he's a happy chap.
We're heading North next weekend hopefully to fish and if not it'll be reading books in the spa - tough job!

Who said cold!
Yes rather cold out on the bike here on Sunday although clear skies to start with. Sounds like its all go for the road and look forward to reading your blogs. Its off to the Mount for the long weekend but will give the Surf a miss. It will be Bike & Books. Travel Safe. Cheers Salty
