We are heading to the town of Hiltons Kentucky where the Carter Family Fold is located. This weekend is the annual memorial festival at the Carter Family Fold (As in June Carter's family) see www.carterfamilyfold.org We are going to listen to country music and soak up some more culture!
I am writing to you from the Wal Mart parking lot using borrowed signal from Staples so that I can update our travels. Internet has been not that easy to get recently and we know for a fact tonight and probably for the weekend we will be out of touch.
So have a good weekend NZ we hear the weather is not that kind!!! And chances are we will be sweltering in 90 degree heat and probably no air-conditioning. I can hear you ....... tough en up!!!

Yes you are correct it has been raining and raining and raining, ground is sodden and even a large slip up in Torbay which has required 14 houses to be evacuated!! Last time we looked Murrays bay house was still on the cliff. The beach down in the bay was spectacular with surf 6-8 ft high and spume across rd like a snow drift!!
Pauline is still unwell so perhaps we should take her to the VET!! She is now at home and more comfortable and has all her marbles still so all the family including Paul & Cleo from Perth have been to say their fond farewells. Will let you know when there are any changes.
