Last evening we were at the Ho Hum RV park, which was anything but ho hum. We spent the night 15 feet from the Gulf of Mexico, had some beautiful prawns for dinner while we watched the fish and the birds.
This morning we had a great sunrise and then we hit the road, not before we had a late morning nap, perhaps because we were up so early to see the sun rise.

As we drove in to Apalachicola ( and you thought maori words were had to pronounce), we notice about 20 or 30 skiffs on the bay using what can best be described as large garden rakes, they were "racking " the sea bottom to harvest the oytsers, So we decided to stop and seek out the best "Local" oyster bar, where we enjoyed oysters done four different ways. Following lunch and taking our waitress's advice we stopped of at a shack on the side of the road and bought another few dozen.( I can guess what everyone is thinking, but considering the heat and everything, I am not holding my breath).

This evening we are at Mexico beach, and have moved into the central time zone, we will spend tomorrow here as well as a local resteraunt has all you can eat prawns( shrimp) tomorrow evening.
