A screw up was inevitable, while reconnecting the fifth wheel to the truck BRENT made the mistake of removing the chocks from the wheels before he hitched up, that little mistake meant that when the truck nudged the trailer , the trailer moved more than it should, in doing so HE bent one of the landing legs which support the front end of the RV when the truck is not connected.
After an hour struggling, we managed to remove the entire leg from the RV, but because it was extended the job was not easy.
So here we are at the Worlds biggest RV sales/repair.and Rv park, they have 220 service bays to service RV's. this place is huge, not unlike a disneyland for Rv'ers.
Tomorrow we will see if they have a part and I will hopefully reassemble it all so we can get on the road again.
Because we have never been to Lazy Days before we are staying here for two nights for free, not only does this place have nice sites they have free breakfasts and free lunches, amazing, who said there is no such thing as a "Free Lunch", but i guess we will have to wait and see after I pay for the part tomorrow.
We are still experiencing great weather, but everyday at about 4 pm the skies darken and open up with real heavy rain and amazing electrical storms.
Fortunately we have cable Tv and Jo is enjoying watching the US open

Oh the trial and tribulations of RVing!
Boy, does that sound familiar; we sat in Tuscon in Jan at Beaudry's ( a huge RV center and park) and waited for a new windshield. During a panic stop in Phoenix something came loose and shot through the windshield; it was fairly reasonable, our insurance covered most minus deductable of ($250)Other things have happened but I guess that goes with the territory. I am glad Jo got to watch the US Open, what fun the playoff was today. I wanted Rocco to win so badly, he held himself very proud.
Sam went to get the boat today, very late for us, I guess the RV has gotten so much more attention....
Take care and have fun.
Love Sig
Joys of new experiences!
Hi Jo & Brent
Love reading about your travels - can just picture you both - sounds way more difficult than boating though. Wasn't the USA Open amazing Jo? We sat glued to it! No golf this week - weather bad.Have been looking after our grandies at weekends - one to go - has been fun though.
Talk soon - Love Ronda and David
It's all part of the fun & experience !
Hi guys - sounds like you're having a ball. Bit of a hassle but you won't do it again ! 220 servicing bays and free meals ! It's hard to believe. We just can't come to grips down here how small we really are!
Jo, now that Tiger is out, you've got a good chance - hope you're finding some time still to fit in a round of golf occasionally and keep up the practice.
Rgds
