OUR STORY
Once again the day dawns clear and hot, and we decided on a lazy day, with a look at the local areas. First thing, we stopped at a Ace Hardware to buy a few necessities for the RV, and a funny thing happened, our credit cards would not be accepted, strange, " try again" no didn't work, so we paid by cash and phoned the Wells Fargo Bank in Rapid City. Well it seems that they made a small screw up when they opened our accounts and their "back room boys" decided in there infinite wisdom to cancelled our cards. This meant that they had all our money and weren't prepared to give it to us!!!! WHAT THE ............!!!!
So while they fix the problem, which will take about a week, we will have to be careful with our expenditures.
We have certainly noticed that the American "systems" sucks and nothing happens quickly, even if it is their fault.
There is little doubt that with all the travelling we have done in the past that this trip has been the most difficult and due to no fault of our own.
A 5 pm we went for a swim on the beach, the water was unbelievably warm, and it was boredom rather than the cold that drove us from the water.
Dinner was a form of Paella utilising large fresh shrimp, washed down with some pretty good wine.

This is a continuing saga since Billy the Kid. They still take your money but its now done through electronics rather than from a horse. I prefer the stick em up style!!!
