Just a short update because, I know, I know, it has been a while... t this moment of writing it is the 21st of January... Let me think for a second.. what kind of excting things did I do that I can write about in a nutshell...
I went to the hotspring in Kalka, on the 10th together with Leon. After a taxiride to another gathering point and another taxi , and... you guessed it.. yet another taxi we finally arrived at th hotsprings, we rented a swimshort for Leon and paid the entrance fee of S/. 3 or 6 , so extremely good price for an antrance fee.
The water was brown, buit natural (I hope!) and the shower before was freezing but it was alright, although not as hot as we ´d hoped. After not that long we decided to catch, or at least try to catch another bus to better hotsprings but that bus never drove by.. so after a nice local soup and some choclo we decided to go back to Pisac, to find a hostal and go shop the next day... problem was, because of low season all hostals were either closed or extremely pricy, so we dove in the back of another taxi to get a ride back to Cusco. I guess the hot springs in Aguas Calientes are mas mejores !
What else what else in a nutshell...My parents arrived on the 15th of January here in Cusco so they have been here for almost a week now!. Their first day we went to the mirador and they right away tried some Chica, which didn't turn out to be their favorite would be my guess...LOL
Monday the 19th was my dad´s birthday and therefore Leon and I went on an investigating search to find the best cake in Cusco. We found it at Totti (?).... A huuuugee Mocca cake and written on it Feliz Cumpleaños Papito... it cant get any better than that can it ?! haha
My Uncle´s (Henk) birthday is today ( Congrats!! I knw you read my blogs and stay updated!!!:)) What else is new for this moment.. aah my parent are heading to Machu Picchu tomorrow, for a 2 day 1 night excursion! So we will be expecting some great pictures wont we?!!
I cant make this blog to long have a lot of work to translate... (and that while having a sucky bladder infection... how stupid is that L) hahaha
