Any way I am jumping the gun!!
Fliss and I crossed over to Chile on Xmas day with Cruice Andino which is bascially an all day trip via ferry and boat which travels through a national park across the Andes to Pucon. Pricey but worth it, mind you it was not a clear day so sadly the sites were not as spectular as we woudl have liked but still a great day and we had a lovely tour guide, jenny who was awesome and helped us a lot
We left early fro Pucon on boxing day, our first decent bus trip. All was goign very smoothly until somethign fell out the back of the bus...... not worry though an hour or so later another bus came along and picked us up. Thankfully it wasnīt too hot and I am reading a great book so my patience prevailed and I know it could have been a lot worse!!!
Pucon arghhh Pucon, so much to do so little time! But like I said priority one was Volcon Villaricia and we conquered it! It was hard, there was heaps of snow ice and on the way back down a near white out, thankfully my guide was in white so at times i could just make him out! But yeah bloody hard work, 2800m high we climbed from 1400m and yeah a challenge for me and flea but we both made it! Over 300 people/lemmings climb this every day (when fine) but yesterday conditions meant not a lot of people could handle the jandel so glad were were two of teh few who did!!!
Last night we then hit the thermas to soak the muscles was bliss but still not as good and hot as the ones at home ;-)
Off to Santiago tonight on an overnight bus, we both arenīt sure how we will like Santiago as havenīt heard good thinjgs but only spending a day there so atleast we can create our own opinion, it will be hard being in a city after these great little towns we have been staying in. I will miss the friendly faces and all the strayīs thatīs for sure!
Adios amigoīs until next time.......
