Bangkok!!!

I LOVE THIS CITY!!!
We still have jet lag, but it's ok in Bangkok. You can wake up at 3:30am and go down to the street vendors and still have a nice dinner, and go shopping if you want, and we did... for 2 days. The street food vendors make the best food in Thailand. With spicy salads that could wake the dead, pad thai made on a wok that's on the back of a bicycle, and a cold beer, you can't go wrong.
The next day we went to the cell phone super center in the mall, (probably over 5000 cell phone booths) to get our Thai phone #, they set it up on your own phone, and you're good to go.
Then we booked our flight to Phuket, which was interesting. To book that flight, we had to go online to make the reservation. Then the airline sends you an email with a code that you have to put in a text message that you have to send to the airline (good thing we got that phone). Then they text you back a code and then you have to go to any 7-11 and pay for the ticket. 7-11 gives you a plain receipt, and you go to the airport with your 7-11 receipt and get your boarding pass. Weird....but it worked.
We met some big huge drunk guy from Mississippi who was working for an oil company in Thailand. He was a little crazy, but fun. And a bunch of other expats, mostly British or Irish,... all nuts, but fun.
Now, we go to the beach... finally!
