I'm giving this travelogue thing a test run. Hopefully those of you that got notification emails are interested in reading about/seeinig pictures from my trip--if you aren't interested then go away, nobody wants you here anyway.

I'm still hammering out the day-to-day itinerary, but here's the loose plan as of now:

July 12: fly out of O'Hare through Miami and land in Quito.
~July 26: fly from Piura, Peru to Lima.
~August 9: cross the Peru/Bolivia border near Lake Titicaca.
August 23: fly out of Santa Cruz, Bolivia for home.

I'll probably post a much more detailed plan in the next few days. I have almost everything I (think I'll) need for the trip, save a few items.
