As I drove into Las Vegas the sun set behind me.  What a strange town. Yes, but the oddest assortment of characters. Super rich rub elbows with super poor, all playing a game they'll never win. People can lose themselves in a place like this. But Lady Luck was with me on this one. My good friends, Becki and Phil are in Vegas, renovating a house. They're almost done, and I crashed at their place for a few days.
Their house, in my opinion, had another bad case of CPS or "Constant Project Syndrome". Fortunately, I was given some nice sized canvas to work on.  I finally had a place to paint. Their backyard was spacious and more importantly, covered. The sun felt great. In between Becki and Phil's huge dogs, eating some awesome sushi, and painting; I managed to gamble. I don't really like gambling and I'm not very good at it. So you could imagine my happiness when I came out three dollars up on the casinos.  Yeah! That's right! I beat the house! The cherry, on top of the Vegas sunday, was Red Rocks National Park.  A climbers paradise.  I'm already planning the climbing trip.

Other things happened in Vegas...... but..... you know.
