So, I cut back east, inland from the coast, to hit Crater Lake NP. Well worth the trip. Truly, the bluest water I've ever seen. And driving around the lake was fun, all be it, disorienting. The lake is an almost perfect circle, and it was odd to feel the sun move around me like a flashlight. I went for a great hike up to the tallest point in the area, Mt. Scott where I met some people and hiked down with them.  It was a gorgeous day and although the park itself is quite small, the views and landscape are really beautiful.  I thought about camping there but decided to move on and head back to the coast.
