The boyhood home of Buffalo Bill, Cody was a cool little western town, a few hours from Yellowstone.  Tami helped me find the only hostel in town, and after a late night drive through the old towns of Wyoming, I had a good bed to lay down on and a great shower to wash the prairie dust away.  Robin, the owner, was super nice, and it turned out she was waiting up late anyway, for an Italian couple that was due in later that night.  The hostel was the smallest I have ever been in, consisting of basically a room and a bathroom.  Just one room with beds and a kitchen area.  Simple and nice.
The Italian couple, Francesca and Carlo, were awesome.  Purely Italian, full of love, laughter and curiosity.  We had a great time getting an "all American" breakfast and exploring the cowboy town.  I was really impressed with the Buffalo Bill and Native Indians museum; and we hit a rodeo later that night.  Earlier in the day I asked around, and found the local rock climbing cafe.  There are thousands of routes in the area and I can't wait to go back one day and explore what there is to climb.  I also met the neighbors and we hung out the evening before Tami was to fly in to Cody.  Just a great bunch of people.  Down to earth and really nice.
The Italians were a lot of fun to hang with and I'm glad I was there to help them with some car rental and flight stuff they needed to figure out.  Francesca spoke a little, but Carlo couldn't really follow a conversation.  Luckily, I remembered a little Italian, and what I couldn't remember I spoke in Spanish.  I also know how to talk to foreign speaking friends in English, so we got on great.  They are traveling for a month and love American cowboy stuff.  They were also headed into Yellowstone as well, and at the time, had no idea what a fun couple they would prove to be for both me but Tamami.  Cody = yep yep!
