We got a van!!!!!
His name is Karl, he's a 1991 Ford Transit, Diesel. He runs pretty well, clutch is a little worn but at $1300 you can't complain. Matty and myself shortrlisted a number of possible rigs and rang the owners. After asking some questions we narrowed the search down to 2. We jumped on the train out to Sydneham and inspected Karl. We took it for a spin and it was love at first drive. After negotiating he was ours and drove into London City armed with only a subway map. We winged it and somehow ended up in South Kensington, the home of Matty's pub. We parked the van (at $6Aus) and made the decision to leave the next day for that reason. We went out to a bar and watched some Rugby League. I swear the game has gotten quicker in the last 6 months!
At 8.32am 12th June we began the eurotrip. Our intention was to make the 1.5 hour drive to Cambridge where our mates We headed out of London, got lost and decided to take the first possible exit
Cheers

. We realised we were heading in the wrong direction (Oxford) but decided a little detour was better than dealing with London again. 6 hours later we rocked into our destination. We couldnt park in the local shopping centre due to the height of our van and after half an hour we finally found somewhere to leave the car for a few days (without paying). We caught up with the lads, walked around town and made ourselves comfortable on the boys couch, our nest for the next 5 days. We spent the next few days getting Karl ready for the crusade and watching cable tv. Last night we painted the town red and we went to a great bar called the Castle. I had an awesome night, dancing like a maniac and showing the locals how to do the worm. Matt compared me to the Tasmanian Devil. I woke up this morning passportless. Typical Ross fashion, I know. I went to the police and they had found the passport, dodging a bullet once again in the typical Ross style. We are heading to France on Tuesday, under the English channel and then onto Belgium. The van should be raring to go and were pretty pumped. Ive included some photos of Karl and some of the photos I took when strolling around London. Cheers
