I've spent the past 4 days visiting the Ghosts of Bradley's Past here in Ottawa. I can't believe I haven't been back here since the summer of 1994. It's been an eerie experience actually. Things seem so familiar and yet so foreign all at once. I did some really touristy things like walking around the Parliament buildings and dropping by 24 Sussex Drive and Rideau Hall but I've mostly been hanging out in Greg & Lara's backyard. Gara has been the perfect host - they've provided food and refreshments and as well as a nice cool pool for refreshment during the hot afternoons. Anybody else who'll be putting me up during my trip will be hard-pressed to match their generosity... but I dare you to try!
For Canada Day I patriotically watched Canada's highest ever grossing movie Porky's

.I also spent a day in the 1000 Islands area and I've learned two more great pieces of useless information... 1) There are actually 1864 islands and 2) an island is defined as having a point at least 3 feet above the waterline as well as being home to at least 2 trees and other vegetation.
Lastly, my former neighbours here in Ottawa, the Outlaws motorcycle club have moved out of their headquarters on Ladouceur Street. Anyone needing a bomb-proof abode can snap this place up for a song.
Now I'm heading up north to the Maniwaki area for some camping. Later.

Ghost stories
I have never really believed in ghost before but the more stories I hear about them, the more I am starting to consider ghost real. I heard that there is going to be a play and re-enactment of ghost stories in Ottawa July 5 2008. It seems interesting to hear about 'the women in blue' story.
