After a LATE breakfast we took the subway to the San Telmo area for the Sunday flea market. subway to plaza de mayo

The subway let us out right at the historic Plaza de Mayo in downtown, built in 1580, home of many revolutionary protests and made famous from the balcony scene in Evita. presidential pink palace

The weekend market in San Telmo was about a 10 minute walk and it was fun to see all the antique items everyone was selling. Lots of weird random items too. Very touristy but fun and worth checking out. soda siphons are the new black

We made reservations for 10:30 (normal time for dinner here) at a restaurant that was recommended to us called Casa Cruz. It was unbelievably delicious. One of the best we've had in a long time. The décor was dark wood and red velvet. The best word to describe it was luxurious. Our pre dinner drinks were insane. The bartender was a genius. Everything we ate was incredible and the argentine malbec we choose was perfect. It was one of those dining experiences where you'd eat anything the put on your plate or as I said after my 4th drink "if they put poop-flavored crème brulee on the menu, i'd have to consider it" it was that good. We finished about 12:30 and headed for one last drink before calling it a night.

Speaking of poop, dog poop is everywhere on the streets. I mean everywhere. About on par with Amsterdam, so you really have to pay attention while walking on the sidewalks.
