We left Port Dickson a day early and bussed over to Kuala Lumpur. We trekked quite a bit through the city walking up and down a number of times before finally deciding on the right direction. We found ourselves at Buintang guesthouse which looked good, was reasonably clean and was cheaper than other guesthouses in the area. When we had settled in we found it a little strange to see all these Asian ladies (young and not so young) lounging about the place in their pyjamas. We didn't think anything of it until at 9 o' clock sharp all these ladies got dressed up in the tightest dresses and went out for the night and we heard them coming back at about 3 in the morning! Yes I think we stayed in a brothel. That explains the price!

Kuala Lumpur was the first kind of big skyscraper city that we have been to. We visited the Petronas towers of course (tickets are free) to see some pretty spectacular views of the city. We walked around a lot and did a bit of cheap shopping...buying some fake name brand stuff! The food as ever was re4ally good there and you were really spoilt for choice.

We also went out to the edge of the city to the Batu caves which a huge caves where millions of Hindus flock every year for some festival. The statue that is outside the cave is the tallest one in the world of that particular god. We laughed at some Americans in the cave who clearly thought that everyone needed to hear how they thought it was the most amazing thing they have ever seen. And then we went back and ate some more!
