What a Ferry ride! We got on the ferry and waited for an hour to leave, it was small and cramped, people were throwing up noodles (pretty much on Brad's arm as we had to sit right by the toilets). Never again! We hope.

But we arrived safe and sound in medan which is a buzzing dirty city. Accommodation is not great there but we only spent one night before taking a 3 hour bus trip up to Bukit Lawang. And that was pretty cool.
