Having had what had become my usual breakfast at the KGH, a mexican chicken buritto, I checked out and headed for the airport to catch a flight back to Delhi.
 
The International terminal at Kathmandu was a lot more civilised than the domestic one - they even have X-ray machines there!  It was the total opposite actually. Check-in luggage x-rayed and tagged, hand luggage x-rayed and searched and then searched again at the foot of the steps to the plane!  At the domestic, there was no x-ray and the guy, looking like you'd just woken him up, just gave the outside of your bag a quick pat and sent you on your way.
 
The flight to Delhi left on time and on arrival I had to get a taxi to the domestic airport which was about 15 mins drive away, to catch my flight to Mumbai.  As I was a few hours early for my flight I decided to chill outside for a while and have a smoke or two - BIG mistake!!!  If I hadn't had that smoke I could have got onto an earlier flight which was leaving immediately!  My flight ended up being delayed as well, so that smoke cost me a good few hours of waiting time!

I eventually arrived in Mumbai about 23.30 and jumped into a taxi for the one hour drive to my hotel in Nariman Point.
