Ate twice at Hai Bing Coffee Shop which seemed to be about the best restaurant around and recommended in Lonely Planet. A meal for 3 pp. cost 60R. Food was O.K. Nothing great.
A visit to Sibu was mainly to get a boat to Kapit so that we could visit a longhouse. There is really not much to visit here beside the Chinese Temple and Pagoda.
Took an Express boat to Kapit (we paid 25R for Business class and that was an excellent choice) Aircon on the express boat is at "freezing" point!!!!. Luckily, I have learnt to always have my fleece with me and in this case it was not quite enough a 'wool blanket' would have helped!!!!!
Arrived in Kapit in time for lunch and to book a homestay at a longhouse.
