We went down to breakfast around 9 or so, and the guy serving us seemed angry because apparently breakfast was already supposed to be over or something. I guess Jara told us the wrong time, but thankfully he still let us all eat until 9:30 or 10 or whatever it was that Jara told us. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but there were hot options at least.
After breakfast, the majority of people did the Fraser Island four-wheel drive tour because the alternative was to drive to Noosa in the coach and miss all of the scenery
On the tour, we got to see Lake McKenzie, which was really beautiful. I loved how it looked so blue in the middle but white around the edges. A couple people went swimming even though it was ridiculously cold. This is where I got to see Carolyn's... unique... style of diving for the first time. It was funny how worried she was about the dingoes. She kept asking people to protect her bag because she thought the dingoes would come and take it. This is also where we stopped for lunch. I had steak, bread, and salad, but there were also sausages and things.
Next, we took a drive down 75 mile beach and ate lamington cake things. We also went for a short rainforest hike. I can't imagine coming all the way here and not doing the Fraser Island tour; it just seems wrong.
Once we got to Noosa, we had dinner at Noosa Surf Life Saving Club. When we chose our meal option, I signed up for the cannelloni, but when the food came out, it ended up being another vegetarian lasagna. It wasn't that great, but it wasn't completely terrible either.
After dinner, we went back to Anthony's room and watched The Italian Job. I say "watched," but I really only saw about 5 minutes of it and slept through the rest. The rooms here were really nice, though. They were like small apartments, and Therese and I had one all to ourselves, so we had our pick of four different beds. They also had free laundry facilities here, but I never found time to do mine.
