Just a quick entry here because this is the only day on the trip I didn't write about and I'm a "kampekishugisha", or so says Matt. Hint: it's a Japanese word.

Basically, today Matt sent about 20 kilos worth of clothes, books, etc to Cape Town to be added to our shipment for Vancouver. These are things we couldn't bear to part with but couldn't bring along on our trip.

I went to the VAT office and got all the forms filled out since we couldn't process it at the SA/NAM border due to the power outages. So hopefully within the year we'll get a nice lump sum back.

That's it. Don't remember much more.
