Instead of going to bed when I got off work this morning at 8 a.m. I went to yoga, then found out Nick and Leslie were doing this hike. The sun was shining, everything is slushy and melting, the sky was blue, I couldn't say no. It's a 8 mile loop, with Mt. Erebus looming in the background, puffing away as usual. The silence out there was amazing and the white oblivion could easily swallow you up...so always stay on the flagged path!
