I found the beach, the one I've been dreaming about for most of my life. A tiny remote fishing village on the south coast of Mexico called "Mazunte".

Two of the guys there have been sleeping in the same hammock for 4 weeks and two months. They couldn't leave... might have been something to do with the amount of pure grass joints they were smoking but hey, this is meh-HEE-ko!!! Oaxaca weed is grown nearby
and is bloody potent!! I sure found this out after a few days with them, smoking joints for breakfast, space cakes for lunch and, roasted sativae bananas for dinner!!! This one French guy could be found each morning either standing on his head or with his legs wrapped round his neck, in some crazy yoga position. He was actually a world famous yoga teacher and had left France more than 30 years ago to go travelling. Having never stayed in one place for more than 6 months, he'd been to almost every country in the world and spoke everything from Thai to Hindi, inspiration indeed!
Went on a local boat tour the other morning to go swimming in the wide open Pacific with wild dolphins, sea turtles and manta rays - amazing. Also caught a goodsized 'Bonita' which I barbequed on the campfire for breakfast for everyone in the cabana. Most of the time I've been floating about in the waves, trying to body surf or snorkelling round the coral reefs, quality when your that stoned - a widescreen kaleidoscope. I doubt theres a more horizontally chilled place in El Mundo.
I'm off back to the mountains to dry out and nurse all my mosquito bites - ouch!
hasta luego
