"The plane journey wasn't very fabulous as the Chinese man behind me kept touching my head and seat which was quite creepy! The journey was also very bumpy. When we got off the plane we were taken to the wrong bus - KFC then made life better though. Yuxi is so beautiful. So much more relaxed and pretty. Made friends with random Chinese students then went to a noodle restaurant with extremely strange combinations with funny 'plant water'. At least it wasnt spinny table food! tracked down the Apple Fanta again so life yet again got better. Saw some chinese dancing at a concert across from the hotel. Can't wait for the rest of the adventures!" - Sophie

"The plane journey went quite quick for us. We just slept and took loads of selfies! We were offered some cookies by a random Spanish wife and Robbie had to walk about with a handbag as hand luggage because there was no space in anyones case (the handbag was a gift btw). We all played dares and Carla ended up with a face mask of shaving cream!" - Robbie and Lauren

"Seeing another side to China here in Yuxi, a bit less hustle and bustle. After getting refreshed in the hotel we had a nice walk up to the Red Tower. enjoyed sun and shade in equal measure and met some locals. Experienced renowned Yuxi noodles which for most was.... interesting. Credit to Ryan and Stuart for finishing the bowls bigger than their heads - good effort lads! Topped the day off with a birthday McFlurry - cheers Maureen! - and birthday cake back at the hotel courtesy of the whole group - brought a tear to the eye! As for looking like one of the kids - tally up to five now. Meant to be getting older but still looking youthful - I'll take that, long may it continue!" - Mr McF
