From here we made our way to Denmark about 40 minute drive through beautiful picturesque country. Every where is green and lush with pastures and dense tree forests. We refuelled at Denmark BP $95.68. Unfortunately we didn't see much of Denmark the township, as we made our way to the beautiful coastal drive to Greens Pool, William Bay National Park. Greens Pool was incredibly beautiful, white sandy beaches with crystal clear Teal, Aqua and Blue water. Sheltered by the huge round smooth rocks there are no waves. Absolute paradise, could easily spend a few days here relaxing. I took the opportunity to wade in the salty water to clean my wounded knee. We strolled around the smooth granite boulder rocks taking in the beautiful views
On the road again we continue onto Nornalup Tree Top Walk situated between Denmark and Walpole, approx 50 minute drive to Tree Top Walk. The journey took us through old majestic tree forests of Karri and Tingle. The Tingle Tree is the oldest living Eucalypt in the world and some of the trees here are up to 400 years old, with a girth of 26 meters and height of 75 meters.
The Karri Tree is the third largest tree in the world and has a straight trunk only branching very high up. This tree can be up to 90 metres high. These trees are enormous on either side of the road the drive through this forest is lovely. We pulled into the car park of Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, had lunch in the vans and made our way to the walk. Entry Fee is $12.50 each for adults.
The walk took us 40 metres high in the canopy of the forest of trees aged up to 400 years old. Amazing views.
On the Road again to Pemberton where we stop at the local IGA for groceries, then continue to Kudardup - Molloy Caravan Park, Fisher Road, Kudardup. This is a beautiful camping area beside the Blackwood River
