Jest idiotyczna 6:30 rano, a ja wlasnie siedze na lotnisku w Miami i czekam na lot do Charlotte w Poludniowej Karolinie. Wciąż nie mogę uwierzyc, ze już dzis zaczynam pierwszy dzien pracy na pokladzie! 6 dni w Miami minely mi w zastraszajaco szybkim tempie. Finalny test zdalam na 93% - z drugim najlepszym wynikiem z naszej 22-osobowej grupy, ogolny ocena za caly tydzień - 83%, co oznacza, ze jestem w scislej czworce najlepszych ludzi na treningu... O kurcze! Wczoraj bylismy świętować nasz tydzień ciezkiej pracy w South Beach w Miami. 3 osoby zostaly odeslane do domu, bo nie zdaly testow, tudzież mialy za slabe zdjęcia. Bardzo mi przykro z ich powodu. Wczoraj był Halloween, mnóstwo poprzebieranych osob, jedna wielka ogolnokrajowa impreza. Było zabawnie!
Caly tydzień jednak był ciezka harowka, spalam po 4h na dobe. Mój trener stwierdzil, ze jestem "hyper", czytaj ze mam ADHD. Jeden z chłopaków stwierdzil, ze nigdy nie poznal tak pozytywnej wariatki jak ja J . Chyba pierwszy raz usłyszałam od tylu ludzi na raz, ze jestem zabawna. Naprawde, rzadko trafia się na towarzystwo, które lapie twoje dowcipy. A smietanka była ogolnoswiatowa - poza Polska reprezentowana przeze mnie, byli tu ludzie z takich krajow jak: Turcja, Peru, Meksyk, Indie, Filipiny, Chiny... Codziennie wieczorem, po treningu, chodziliśmy do restauracji na obiadokolacje - a to hiszpanska, a to azjatycka, a to turecka... Hotelowy pokoj dzielilam z dziewczyna z Filipin. Jakos tak wyszlo, ze najlepiej dogadywałam się z Turkami, do których - musze przyznac - mialam poczatkowo duzy dystans. Turcy, których do tej pory poznalam, byli ofensywni i agresywni. Ci zupełnie przeciwnie. Z Turczynka, Damla, znalazłam wiele cech wspolnych.
Ciedziennie byliśmy testowani w innym zakresie/typie robienia zdjęć. Nasz trener, Andie, dal nam pewne instrukcje co do kompozycji. Mielismy sobie wyobrazic, ze w pozycji horyzontalnej zdjęcia, nad glowa ma być odległość wielkości jablka, po bokach - dynii. Cwiczymy robienie zdjęć portetowych, kolej na jednego z Hindusow. Cala reszta udaje "pasażerów", którym sa robione zdjecia. Podchodzi dwojka ludzi jako "mąż i żona", Hindus ich wita, mowi "pokazcie mi swój uśmiech! 1,2,3, DYNIA, DYNIA, klik!" Wszyscy umarliśmy ze smiechu, tarzaliśmy się na podłodze jeszcze przez dłuższy czas.
A teraz siedze i czekam na lot. Wyjezdzam jako jedna z pierwszych osob. Jeszcze dzis będę robic zdjęcia Gosciom! Ale najlepsze jest to, GDZIE będę robic te zdjęcia! Na statku o nazwie Grandeour of the Seas, który plywa po Ameryce Polnocnej, Srodkowej, Poludniowej oraz po Karaibach! O Mamusiu! Jestem z jednej strony przerazona, czy sobie poradze, z drugiej podekscytowana do granic możliwości! I naucze się porządnie mowic po hiszpańsku! Jupi!

It`s silly 6:30 in the morning, and I am just sitting at the Miami International Airport and am waiting for a flight to Charlotte in South Carolina. I still cannot believe that I am starting my very first day of work onboard just today! Those 6 days in Miami had just flown by. I passed the final test with 93% - a second best score out of group of 22 people, the overall score for the whole week - 83%, which means that I am in top 4 of the best trainees of this week... Blimey! Yesterday (Friday) we went to South Beach in Miami, in order to celebrate the week of our hard work. 3 people were sent back home, as they didn`t pass their final tests well enough, or they had too weak pictures. Yesterday it was Halloween, plenty of people dressed up, it was like one huge party celebrated all over the country. It was fun!
The whole though was a hard work, I used to sleep 4 hours a day. My trainer said I`m hyper, read: that I probably have ADHD. One of the guys claimed that he`d never met as positive nutty girl as me J . I think it was a first time when I heard from so many people that I`m funny. Seriously, it`s hard to find a companionship that gets your jokes. The people were from all over the world - apart from Poland represented by myself, there were folks from countries such as: Turkey, Philippines, China, Peru, Mexico, India... Every night we used to go out to a restaurant and have a dinner there - either the Chinese one, or Spanish, or Turkish... The hotel room I shared with a Pilipino girl. Somehow I got along with the Turkish guys the best and, I must admit, I was really distanced towards them at the beginnings. The Turkish I`d met so far, were offending and aggressive. These ones were not at all. I found a lot in common with Damla, a Turkish girl.
Every day we were tested in a different field/type of taking pictures. Our trainer, Andie, had given us some instructions about the composition of the photo. We were supposed to imagine, that above the head, in a horizontal position, there is a space of an apple size, and one the sides - a space of a pumpkin. We`re training portrait pictures, there`s an Indian guy`s turn. The rest of us pretends "passengers", that are being taken pictures of. Two people come to stand in front of the background as "wife and husband", the Indian guys greets them and says: "show me your smile! 1,2,3, PUMPKIn, PUMPKIN, click!". Everyone was rotfling on the floor for a while.
And now I am sitting and waiting for my flight to depart. I`m leaving as one of the first people. I`m gonna be taking pictures of the Guests today already! But the most fun thing about it is WHERE I`ll be taking those pictures! It`ll be the Grandeur of the Seas cruise ship, cruising around the North, Central and South Americas and also the Caribbean! Oh Mummy! From one hand I am frightened whether I`ll manage, from the other I am sooooo excited! And I`m going to learn proper Spanish too! Yupee!
