As a matter of fact, I turned n tossed last night when I worried about oversleepin' n missin' my flight.  It's as if my mind wuz runnin' nonstop like a jackpot machine.  Meditation didn't work nor did I take Melatonin.  Not only dat, I wuz so anticipated about my trip!  I woke up the alarm clock, not vice versa, eh!  My friend, Staci, fetched me to Austin Bergstrom Internat'l Airport. I admitted dat I wuz a lil' worried she might oversleep, too!

I ain't sayin' much about my flight to New York City.

Now, well, the flight to the JFK Airport went smooth except dat upon arrival there, it took like forever to reach the terminal dock.  Perhaps a mile or longer!  Didn't realize the airport wuz so VAST just like the airports in Atlanta & Dallas.   Thought NYCers wudda be too busy to assist me but, nah, the lady showed me where to get air train in order to catch the next flight:  Turkish Airlines.  I enjoyed lookin' (well, actually starin' at) international peeps.  Just loved watchin' how they behaved, dressed, gestured, and talked w/ accent.

The Turkish plane wuz a Boering 777.  I think dat's the second biggest fleet of all aircraft. Nine seats in each of rows, divided 3 of 9 each.  I optioned for window so I cudda rest my head on the window, or my neck wudda be stiff n sore, if I sat by aisle or in the middle.  The plane was delayed for an hour.  Finally it departed at 5:45 pm, or so. Sittin' & waiting' wuz no fun.   The young woman, who sat next to me, must be Muslim 'cos she had her head covered w/ a scarf.  Pretty lady.  I planned to strike up a conversation w/ her & ask her questions but decided not to.  Instead I watched a subtitled English Hindi film called 'Ekk Deewana Tha'.  In short, it's about the man who fell in love w/ a gal named Jessie at the first sight but the gal's parents disapproved 'em.  Sort of Romeo n Juliet tale but w/ happy endin'. And Jessie was my dog's name that just passed away on April 21 this year after 15 years of great life.  Anyhoo, Really enjoyed dat flick very much.   The plane even had a video camera beneath where I cudda watch video of changes in landscapes.  Isn't it rad?!  I ate dinner very late.  I told the Muslim lady I wuz so hungry *rubbin' my stomach in gesture*. I wuz SO starved.  Guess what time I ate?  About 9pm! Lots of foods!  I had to limit myself, or I'd make several trips to john.  Guess Turkish peeps ate late and a lot, huh?

I'm still awake.  I dunno what time it is.  Like I said time zone confuses me!
