Well, we leave for points south in the morning.  We had another great day visiting with Gail in the morning, Mary & Arvin all day, Joyce and Sheri in the afternoon and then a trip with Beth to milk her cow and feed the calf, goat and dog.

Yesterday we had time with Gail, Jim and Elaine and a trip to Gray's Cafeteria for dinner.  What a buffet line.... Wayne and Marty also joined us for dinner.  I know we were all stuffed when we left but I might have had the best fried chicken I have ever had.

Elaine and I also got a few minutes to shop at Marshall's - we each came away with real bargains.

Yesterday and today I was busy taking photos of old photos, some turned out pretty good. I especially liked the photos of my mother as a child.

We have continued to eat the "leftover" homemade ice cream.  Let's see, today I had black raspberry and chocolate. Yum. Good thing we are leaving tomorrow.

It is 11:36 PM Indiana time so I'd better get to bed so I can be bright and cheery in the morning. Then off to new places on the Natchez Trail.

This was a test of our relationship. Am I still looking into Karen's eyes when I enter the room? Karen is also role-playing an old game of her mother's as told by Mary Ellen. Pin holes in the walnut shells allow one to look out, but maybe the walnut shells are placed over the eyes as an aid to look inward. Jim Bodeen
