Long stay

Well I've arrived in Sydney and am currently looking for a place to stay with Emer. We spent the whole day yesterday looking in Coogee, Randwick and Manly to no avail, so now we are in Bondi Beach scouring the various internet cafes and launderettes for notice boards.

01 Darling Harbour

I can't believe how difficult it is proving to get a furnished 2-bed flat for $400 or less per week. It's ridiculous. We'll spend a day looking around here I expect and then if nothing turns up we'll have to try Bronte or Paddington or Surrey Hills or any number of other suburbs. Failing that we'll just pack up and go somewhere else. I need to get a job pretty soon though because money is running out fast.

02 Cool

So that's what I'm up to anyway. I'll be staying wherever I end up for 3-4 months and then travel Oz for a bit before flying into Indonesia for the last leg. Not long now! I can't believe I'm already half-way through.

I'm well aware that I have plenty of writeups to sort out too, but they will have to wait for the time-being. Finding places to live and work take precedence I'm afraid, but rest assured I will put them up (as well as some pictures) as and when I get the chance.
