That's right. Only 15 days to go before I'm on the plane to New York. For those of you who don't know, I am off around the world. That means no more England. FOR A WHOLE YEAR.
Despite this significant advantage I will be leaving behind many of the people I hold dear (you all know who you are) and it saddens me somewhat that I won't be seeing them for a year. That's quite a long time. Nevertheless, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and I can't wait to get stuck in. My itinerary is as follows: 8th May '06 - UK to USA 14th June '06 - USA to Hawaii 19th June '06 - Hawaii to Fiji 25th June '06 - Fiji to New Zealand 25th October '06 - New Zealand to Australia March '07 - Australia to Indonesia May '07 - Thailand - UK That's a month in the US travelling from New York to Los Angeles by train, 11 days in paradise, 4 months in New Zealand, 5 in Australia and about a month and a half travelling through Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Travel plans are going well, despite the never-ending worry that I won't have enough money to get through the US. The most time consuming part is tying up all the loose ends at home. But enough of that. The next time you hear from me will likely be in the 'Big Apple'. Here's a picture of me enjoying the best of Englishness...

Don't forget your toothbrush. Oh yeah, another top tip - Only take trainers and flip-flops with you (footwear-wise). Wear the trainers on the plane. Makes for lighter travelling.
