It was quite a morning friends. Our un-able-bodied assistant guide lost the keys to the truck on the border of Namibia and S.A. Isn't it just lovely? Luckily our able-bodied driver was able to hacksaw into the safe so we could retrieve our passports and better late than never we crossed into our last country on our journey across southern Africa and pitched camp at Orange River.

From Orange River we drove through the lush green landscape of south Africa to Cedarburg. We stayed the night at a local winery where you guessed it we had a wine tasting. With our group it was less of a wine tasting and more of a wine drinking - but there's no wrong in that either. My favorite was from the private stash of the owner a roobois red blend. We also learned that until recently workers in the local wineries were paid in wine - to keep them addicted to the grape juju so they'd keep working to support their habit. Ben capped off the night by kicking everyone's butt in ping pong.
