Blue Journey; a Mediterranean life style!
In 50's, a prominent Turkish author and researcher Cevat Sakir was once introduced to Bodrum (Halicarnassus), the lovely town at the south-west coast of Turkey where the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea meet, that is when he fell in love with its beauty and history.
He wrote letters to friends and companions about the region, and the historical facts and legends of the region were very often told in his books.
And after about twenty years, the friends of Cevat Sakir began to visit Bodrum and experience the first adventure of "Blue Journey" by traditional Turkish wooden motor-sail boats (Gulets) from there following the steps of Cevat Sakir on the legendary "Blue Route".

There after, the name of Cevat Sakir he become "The Fisherman of Halicarnassus" and the name of adventure "Blue Journey" !The sailing vacation you will have, the Blue Journey is just splendid, beautiful, and interesting ! Our clean, intelligent designed and very comfortable yacht with considerate, kind and good humored captain, crew, and cook who every day prepares three delicious, diverse and healthy meals, will make your trip a wonderful experience.
You will follow our sailing route or chose your own, drop anchor where it looks interesting, and stay as long as you like. Aside from the magnificent scenery and clean clear seas of this coast, you will be able to visit many ancient classical sites; The old cities of The Kingdom of Caria, Lycia, and Pamphylia are magical. There are always some good antique stones to study when you will have enough time !
It will be not a typical cruise, nor a sport. Above all, the Blue Journey, which is a life philosophy, will be a meeting with nature, history, archeology and culture, the opportunity to swim in clear and temperate waters, to dive and discover the secret of the undersea, to windsurf or just sunbathe or fish...
No matter if you and/or your group have or not any previous sailing experience on the "Bleu Route"; The crew is at your service during the entire trip. The captain along with two sailors, one of who is a cook preparing always fresh and healthy Mediterranean dishes for you, will take care of everything.
What you have to do: Just Relax or become a part of crew by setting the sail, dropping / weighting the anchor, cleaning the deck or helping the cook if you like to do so...For a group of friends or a family, you can charter the entire yacht and customize your own route and itinerary.
