Monday after breakfast and it was back to reality with a real bump on our own again we left the pub called the Two boats were moored for the night and it was straight in to the Stockton 10 flight it was a bit of a wrench al tell you,we followed a boat up that to say the least was a nightmare and it was not until we caught them up when they stopped for water that I told them of a code or a form of etiket that boat should share the lock when ever they can he was having none of it until I suggested that we tie the two boats together and share the work and the water ??,episode over and we moved quickly on.
Soon we arrived at Napton junction were we turned right on to the Oxford canal and if I say so my self a very nice canal too and a dam sight easier than the the big locks of the Grand union, we made a steady progress the Napton 9 then we moored for the night at or near Berry hill. The next day been Tuesday we had a big push to get to Banbury to meet up with Heathers brother so straight after breakfast off we set I don't want to seem to be bashing hire boats but today all the idiots must of been on the Oxford canal and if I was pushed a ground and bumped once I must of been done a dozen times and by the end of the day I was knackered any way safely moored up in Banbury, will try and put some photos on to moz
