It's been a LONG Monday with 6 hours of class in one day, but it's always nice to get that done with early in the week. The superbowl started here at midnight on sunday, so our classes were small today (and we like it better, because we seem to get through the information more quickly.

But I must admit, I'm slurring English with Spanish. Last night Chelsea and I were farting around and being smart alecks. Chelsea was trying to tell me this story, but she seemed to think that I wasn't intelligent enough to understand it. So, I sure showed her when I said, "HELLO!! I'M COMPRENDING!!" Yes, I, the English major, am busy comprending, while the rest of my fellow students are out comprehending. Yo comprendo. =)

We bought tickets to see Medea, the greek tragedy, performed at the Lupe de Vega theatre on Sunday. It's going to be a busy weekend! On Friday, we're going to La Rabida, Saturday night we're going to see a flamenco performance, and then Sunday we'll see Medea. **culture, culture, culture** =)

Lindsay and I are going strong with our running program and running every day together. Having a partner is so motivating, and my sense of the city is growing exponentially. I can't wait to see how far we can go at the end of the semester! =)

In class today, we learned about the walk or pilgrimage of St. Peter. It takes about 35 days to do it, but apparently its life changing and not that expensive. Although I don't have time to do it on this trip (boo! for mandatory summer school), it's something I REALLY want to do before I die. I knew that those hours bryce and I walk would come in handy some day!

After class, a group of us went to talk and vent and chill, and then Lindsay and I went to Corte Ingles to pick up a mat to do crunches on. We found soccer warm-ups at a third of the price as all the rest have been (we've seen jackets as high as 150 euros!! Crazy!!), and wore them to school today. Yay for matching clothes like back in 5th grade. =)

The best part is that they say "Sevilla" on the butt.

Love, Stacey
