Helsinki is so exciting, I got to ride a tram just like I do when I go to grandmas in Melbourne, but this time when I got off it was cold and the dads made me walk back to the hotel.
I got to see all the places I have been told about, Stockmans department store, the train station, the harbour and the big cathedral.
In the square outside the cathedral there were lots of bears - it was a world peace display and the winner of the most inventive photo gets a plane ticket from Helsinki to Berlin - not much use for an Australian Puppy so the dads said I couldn't enter, so I posed with them instead ;)
Who knew that the Helsinki Festival was on while we were here - tomorrow is a midnight bike ride through the city - we will miss it as we leave on a plane at 16:50
I got a new badge today too - it is a reindeer sign with Finland on it - it is pretty. I got to see reindeer skins too - they sell them here like they sell sheep skins at home - daddy C wouldn't let me have one - he said it would be too hard to get it back into Australia.
I got my photo taken with a real live soldier too, that was fun, his mates woudn't get in the photo with him and me - I am thinking I was too cute and would show them up, and they kept laughing and pointing at me and the soldier, so I guess puppies must be funny here.
Daddy D did not barf today, I was sad cos I liked the smell, but he looked happier and less green that yesterday. We noticed that both the Linda Line ferries were in port today - the dads said it was probably too rough for them, rough is the noise I make - I get confused with the language.
Tomorrow is a travel day and we gain another two hours - it sure will hurt the dads when this time gets taken off them again - but means I get to sleep a lot more.
I also got a brush before we went out and while out I got a bit damp so daddy C gave me a blow dry when we got back - it was way cool.
Talk to you from Portugal.
