Finally last night my insurance documents came through all legal-like, so no worries there, I am down in Mapusa getting my "license" laminated, and then I will finally be free to go anywhere. . .
It is new year's day here in Mapusa, there are many statues of Hindi origin at the taxi stand, so perhaps I will post some pictures. . .
A quick entry today, stay tuned for more later. . .
Sure is nice to be on broadband for once instead of the usual dial-up we ahve up in arumbol, and though Arumbol is beautiful and I have made a home there, I must get good and ready to move on not that all my legalities are taken care of
Things take time here in India, there was a man, a friend of my usual internet provider, who had a cousin who had a brother whose wife works for the Oriental Insurance Company. . Giving over the proper papers was the easy part, waiting the three days for the policy to come back from Panjim was another story. Finally. . .
More later, I am about to start off on the real adventure. All this easy living has worn me down. Rocinante will have her nameplate soon, and a bottle of King's broken over her front forks, and off I will go.
So stay tuned, dear friends and readers, The adventure begins. .
