Our last day in Paris is a very cruised one, a sleep in, walk across the road to try a very Parisian crepe restaurant for lunch then a stroll down Rue St Dominique to walk around the grounds of the Invalides and military museum seeing a beautiful church and WWI canons and tanks. We wish we had more time to go into the museum but we need to head back to the hotel to catch a taxi.

On our travels we give a nice old homeless man all our leftover coins and his face lights up when we drop the pouch of coins in his plastic cup.

As we go through the crazy roundabout at the Arc de Triomphe and head for the Paris city limits we are filled with mixed feelings of sadness that the holiday is over, dread for the 3 flights ahead of us, happiness to know we are heading for home to our families and friends and a sense that we have accomplishment that we have seen another part of the world.

As we have said before, long holidays and seeing how people in other countries live really makes you appreciate our lives in Australia.

Signing off for the last time....

Dan and Jules
