Day one, a few hours drive away is the great ocean road which explains it all, it follows the coast. First stop Anglesea ( i thought that was in north wales-LOL). then we went to the famous Bells beach where the surfing competions are held. We stopped at Lorne for lunch then made our way to Apollo Bay stopping along the way to look at Koala's in the trees and many scenic lookouts over the ocean. Wow the views were just breath taking!
Day two we drove to the 12 apostles another famous landmark and breath taking views, also along the coast from there it is known as ship wreck coast due to all the many ship wrecks that have occured along there. We then went to Port Campbell for lunch and had a few hours on the beach. Next stop Peterbough before heading back to Apollo bay.
Day three we visited Cape Otway which has a Lighthouse Station. Telegraph house, weather station, lighthouse, keepers quater's and WWII bunker used to look for Jap submarines in WWII. We then drove inland to Oyway sky tower that is housed underneath the rainforest canopy again this was a bit of a climb but views were brillant!!! More thumbnails ...
