Today is my last official day, seriously kill me. So I was feeling pretty sad this morning but I was trying not to feel too depressed so it wouldn't ruin my last day. My plan to see if I could stay longer, as there's definitely space at the moment, has failed epically as poor Judy is incredibly ill, which really sucks (her being ill and not being able to talk to her). So it's not like I can just stay here till Primo gets here tomorrow to see if they want me to continue the project or not. Bad timing all round right. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do but them I remembered that I STILL haven't done Cahuita national park which I've always wanted to do so rather then going back to San Jose. I've also never been to Manzanillo which is a bit further up so that would be cool. I mean I have all the time in the world right now so there's no rush. So that's the immediate plan anyway.

My clinic sloth in my section is apparently feeling much better as she's been moving around better and is trying to grab me whenever I'm syringe feeding her, at one point she got my hair and I couldn't actually get away. Pest. I'm now also feeding the new wild sloth with the bad eye, she doesn't really do the syringe very well as she basically keeps licking at it but she's not eating her leaves so she's having the mixture too. It kind of went everywhere and when I was trying to feed her the paste she was literally flicking it on everything. I'm now green again, she's very wild and bitey but she licked me. I'm totally a sloth whisperer, the bad ones always like me. Machete sloth does not like the syringe but she's still eating so that's good.

Today I had my technical last baby time, as I'm going to help out tomorrow I'll hopefully get another one! I obviously got Linus today, because well, he's awesome! Honestly he's a actually the cutest sloth ever, he never really likes climbing that much (other than to eat dirt), and will always try and climb back on you. He wants to be held all the time. Whenever I went past his cage today he kept coming to the front and holding my hands to be taken out. Plans on how to steal him people! ;) I also got a little hug with the fluffy beach ball that is Linus, luckily everyone is still cooing over her which is fine by me as I'm just like, Gimme Linus! More on the baby front, Lola was being utterly adorable today, she was incredibly active and kept licking Sofia her mum, and nibbling her face and claws. Sofia, unlike Camila, didn't attack her even though she was being annoying, instead she occasionally licked her back but the rest of the time was trying to sleep. So sweet. Talking of Camila her baby upstairs is doing well and has been called Jemima which I think suits her.

After work we were all chilling out and the film crew and Becky arrived. If you didn't know they're filming probably a 6 part episode at the sanctuary. For those of you who have seen 'Too Cute! Baby Sloths', it will be very different. They didn't really like the direction of the other one because it was too cutesy/cheesy which obviously isn't how life is here all the time. There's a lot of stuff that goes on that isn't cute, injuries, deaths, orphaned sloths, drama (clearly from yesterday). So it's going to be a lot grittier which will be great. It was nice to finally meet Becky who I've spoken to a few times. Kinda sucks that I'm going to be leaving and won't get to hang out with them all and see all the hustle and bustle of the filming. Hopefully I will be back though when there's some space :)
