Today the baby that Sofia and Bam Bam had gave me a heart attack. In the morning when I went in to clean I noticed she was there but when I took food in I saw that she wasn't on Sofia, where she normally should be. I moved Sofia's arm just to double check and she definitely wasn't there! I was thinking, oh my god what if she's fallen through the enclosure wiring onto the other side! Just I case I checked Bam Bam, the father, to see if she was with him and thankfully she was. It's pretty unusual for them to be with the father though, and she was trying to feed off him. I was thinking she probably wouldn't get too far with that! Slothful fact 4-mothers don't store milk like humans do but produce it on demand for the baby. Speaking of the baby I managed to get the most gorgeous photos of it today. Check out the photos for one of the crappier ones, I can't put the great ones up here for various reasons.

Miss Vickie, who was in the vet clinic yesterday, seems much happier back with her old pal Spencer. However her leg is looking not good, I mentioned to Marcelo that it might need bandaging because she keeps scratching at it and it now keeps bleeding everywhere. Machete sloth is officially mental as well because she is still climbing about with her hand despite the fact it is BONE what the hell! Seriously she just needs to relax. Crazy sloth.

Today we got sections back! Alas I am not with my darling Piphany but I am in section 6 (or 4 as it's now called) with most of my old section 2 crew. I've also got the Exhibition sloths which I didn't really do last time, so that's pretty cool. My second heart attack of the day was when I came back from lunch to find my section had a new sloth, I was really confused for a minute till I realised that it was the sloth from the clinic, the one with the infected foot. She doesn't seem to be doing that great though and is moving really awkwardly. Talking of new sloths we got a new baby in the downstairs nursery today. Her name is Oprah and she was upstairs with Judy. She is a high altitude sloth so she's super fluffy. Pictures to follow! I had no baby today but just took tons of photos for everyone, although Claire did let me have another hug with Linus :)

We've had no internet all day which has resulted in us all going back to the volunteer house very early. To be fair because of all the rain (it rained again tonight too) it has created a million more mosquitoes which are basically becoming the bane of our lives!

I spoke to Primo and Judy about the project again today and they pleased so far with all the photos, notes etc, although I haven't been able to get the videos to them yet as the internet does not want to upload them even when it is working! I have no clue how long they want me to do the project for and Primo isn't going to be here before my last official day so who knows! It's been really cool having a little project to do though. I like being kept busy and it's really interesting :
