As we didn't get plastered the day before the girls and I got up pretty early to head to Maya Bay before it got busy. We desperately tried to find a cheap boat but they were all 1500 baht and generally not budging. We managed to find a French guy to come with us and share the payment but there didn’t seem to be anyone else to join us. We got it down to 1200 baht and set off with our lovely little captain.

We started off snorkelling which was actually really good, partly because they throw food in the water, which although not great for the ecosystem, meant that all the fish come and swim around you. Like hundreds, was pretty cool. In the process of snorkelling we lost our French guy, who had literally vanished. We waited a bit, looked a bit and then decided he might have swam to Maya Bay and kind of just left without him….

Maya Bay was busy, but I was expecting that after Hannah had told us it was and we explored a little bit. By the time we came back the beach was rammed as all the speed boats had arrived and we could see just how busy it gets if you don’t get there early morning!

Back on PP I went to find Hannah where we had agreed to meet, but there appeared to be no beach where she was meant to be. I headed back to meet the girls and we went to Slinky Bar (where all the other main bars are) beach to try and find her. She still wasn’t there. This was really weird as I knew Hannah wouldn’t just fuck off and leave us without the key without telling us. Eventually we found out that she was where she was meant to be but I just couldn’t see her, mystery solved!

Finally we went out tonight, Hannah was very happy! We got some buckets from the street while we got ready and headed to Slinky Bar to watch the fire show. After they do the limbo and get everyone to do it for free shots if they get under. I managed to get pretty low before I decided to give up (and before I ended up falling on my arse) and so managed to nab a fair bit of free alcohol. Hannah also found one of her sister’s (who worked at Slinky Bar last year) friends, Lena.

Kelly dragged us to Irish Bar as there were apparently 'lots of cute guys’ and we ended up with 241 buckets, which Hannah definitely did not need as she kept deciding that loads of guys were really good looking when actually, they weren’t. BEER GOOGLES!!! We eventually headed back to the beach where I somehow managed to rip my dress (top) all the way up the back so literally my whole bum was on show. Some girl tried to help me tie it up a bit but I kept saying ‘I look like a slut!’ – I don’t know why I was complaining to be fair as I was still more covered then if I was wearing a bikini but there you go!

Hannah and I also ended up deciding today to sack of Half Moon Party and stay on PP for Songkran (the Asian New Year) as frankly it just sounded like the much better option!
