Today we went to Giftun Island (a must see according to all reports we have read).  We took a boat over to the island and along the way one of the crew was filleting the fish we would have for lunch.  As he tossed the heads and such into the water the birds would swarm to catch it.  We got some pretty good pictures of them (the birds, not the fish).  Arriving at the island we spread out our towels on the sand and then walked over to the little restaurant.  It was around 10:30 and we weren't sure what time we would eat on the boat so we thought we would get something light to snack on.  Stevie and Randy shared a burger and fries (again, sorry Jason) and Cindy and Vince split a chicken sandwich and fries.  Everything was delicious.  We were on the island for about 1 1/2 hours and then we boarded the boat again to go out to some of the many red coral reefs to do some snorkeling.  Cindy and Stevie made the supreme sacrifice to stay on board to take pictures of their macho men snorkeling.  Vince took some awesome underwater pictures.  Before snorkeling commenced they served us lunch which consisted of 2 types of rice, pasta, potatoes, breads, salad and grilled fish.  After about a half hour of snorkeling we boarded the boat for the ride home.  There was no wind and it was extremely hot.  We are tired, sun burned and content.  Tonight we have reservations for Omar's Oriental restaurant (don't ask).
