Our flight flew into O'ahu and we immediately caught a connecting flight to the BI. During our 2 days there, we rented a car and basically drove all the way around the island, stopping at places highlighted in the Revealed Guides. We also of course drove up to the Volcano National Park. I wish we'd had time to actually do some of the hiking trails around the volcano. It's such a surreal experience.

Hotels - Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort for 1 night and then Hale Kai Hawaii B&B - we *loved* the B&B.
