July 10th

Andy is still chugging pepto bismol trying to chase away a bad stomach bug. We decide to take the day “off” and just relax a little bit by rearranging our things at South American Explorers and restocking at a grocery store. Going to a grocery store can be so much fun in a foreign country. Fun, but yet dangerous because you want to try just about everything. We had no trouble finding food and snacks for the next couple of days.

We ran into Dany again, who had just come back from the Galopagos. She was back in town to meet her roommate Maria and start on a trip together going through South America. Jen cooked up a spaghetti dinner for us all and we made plans to walk through Quito’s old town together. … assuming Andy is feeling better.
