On June 27th at 11:11AM, Mike Wharff and Amie Biros got married. It may seem an unusual time to have a wedding, but everything about this wedding was far from usual. A wedding on the cliffs of Maine sounds like a chapter right out of a fairy tale, and with the way things turned out, it very well could have been. Without a cloud above, Mike and Amie exchanged their vows with peaceful sound of waves crashing against the cliffs below. There were plenty of opportunities for bad luck to spoil the day, but with blue skies and record setting temperatures, you knew a higher being was giving them this day. Words won't do it justice, so I'm going to stop trying. You can look at the PICTURES and see for yourself.

The entire weekend was amazing. From the record setting temperatures, to the beautiful beaches, to Karenīs fabulous rendition of "The Day Before You" during the ceremony, to the campfire-like hangout on the final night until 2 AM (except replace campfire with "closed" hottub). Mike's brother Joe, lead singer of Slack Family, a bluegrass band (I'm not a fan of country type music, but I am a fan of them), had played the guitar while occasionally different people took turns singing songs. Karen put up a good fight for the Biros family and Billy played a couple songs on guitar, but over all we were outmatched by the incredibly talented Wharffs.

Amie and Mike, I wish you both all the best. Special thanks to Amie, I couldn't have picked a better brother-in-law.
