In Bishkek again. We had a successful trip out to the east side of Lake Issyk Kul where we had a great trek in the Lower Tian Shan behind Karakol with Boo Ford. We returned to Bishkek with Boo - who flew back to London this morning- taking time out at a great lakeside yurt camp in Tosor and managing to fit in an ambituous three day horse ride on the way from Karakol. Chris and I dont normally move so fast but having Boo on board was a real shot in the arm - shame it couldn't be longer!
anyhow, we are heading out to Kochkor today with a Belgian friend that we have met here - Mikiel. Hopefully we can get another horse ride in.
At this stage, we probably wont be able to do a full update on the blog for at least a week, when we once again return to Bishkek and (hopefully) collect an onward to Azerbaijan.
sorry, not an exciting post! but proof we are alive all the same. Kyrgyzstan has been amazing so far and there is still so much left to do!

Love to read your entries but where are pics? I can imagine the adventures you both having in Asia..
