We have been enjoying Kashgar for the last 5 days. It has been a brief sojourn into the western edge of China, but a very interesting one. We were expecting a real wild west outpost but instead we have found Kashgar suprisingly well developed and a nice breather from the small villages of Northern Pakistan.

Tomorrow we are back in the unknown- we are crossing the Tian Shan Range into Kyrgysztan for more outback adventures. Nomads, horses and vodka aplenty. Also, Boo Ford will be popping in for a "Bird Dream" cameo appearance in about a weeks time in Bishkek.
